Position Summary The PACS Administrator is a seasoned professional providing advanced expertise in a complex professional discipline, who will select, customize, configure, install, and support packages. This position will be responsible for collecting user requirements and translating them into well-engineered, tested, and deployed business application systems. Additional responsibilities include the analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance of information. Job Responsibilities Communicates effectively across all impacted teams associated with task assignments. Collaborates effectively with colleagues and across teams to achieve the completion of tasks. Supports the application by training end users and creating training documentation. Responsible for the design and development of IT systems. Develops designs and functional specifications, produces deliverables related to the project(s) assigned and assists in post implementation support and system enhancements. Works with vendors to troubleshoot and plan upgrades. Responsible for gathering, compiling, and synthesizing information with regard to technology processes or systems. Conducts complete diagnostics of most business problems. Anticipates implementation obstacles. Develops specifications and designs technical systems. Selects tools and methodologies for projects. Commits to deliverables with customers and/or management. Meets project deadlines. Offers direct input to budget and resource planning. Mentors less-experienced staff with responsibility for their technical development. Performs other duties as assigned. Additional Information This position will serve on our Ancillary Application team within our HSHS Information and Technology Services Ancillary-Imaging Product Line. Candidates will be assigned an appropriate level at the time of offer. Levels are assigned based on a candidate’s level of education and relevant experience and taking into consideration internal equity. Evening, night and/or weekend on-call support is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL, VM, Networking, DICOM, HL7, PC Hardware, and Server Hardware is preferable. Knowledge of the NEMA, ACR, ACC, and FDA standards relating to Imaging is helpful. Candidate must have excellent personal communication skills. Must be able to perform with little direct supervision. Microsoft A+, Linux, Microsoft MCSA, and any other technical certification is preferred. Education High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years of relevant experience Associate's Degree and 7 years of relevant experience Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant experience Master's Degree and 3 years of relevant experience Experience Experience or academic training in a clinical, business or healthcare environment. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Preferred certifications: ARRT, CIIP, or PARCA
