Loan Officer Badgerland Financial, Wisconsin's leader in providing innovative financial services to rural customers currently has an opening at our Mondovi office for a Loan Officer specializing in production agriculture lending. The Loan Officer is primarily responsible for building strong relationships and providing agricultural and financial expertise to full-time and/or large scale farm customers. Tasks to include: knowledge of basic credit factors, loan origination and servicing, credit risk and control, organizational goals and objectives, communications, product services, sales and marketing of Badgerland Financial solutions or alternatives. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in agricultural business, finance or a related field, a minimum of three to five years of experience in commercial lending as well as knowledge of farm production methods, products, farm business management, finance and macroeconomics as they relate to large scale operations. Candidates with the appropriate education and agriculture background but lacking the specified experience will also be considered. Proficiency with Microsoft applications and experience with a variety of computer programs and systems is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
