Billing Supervisors interact with members gathering support data to ensure invoice accuracy and also work through specific billing discrepancies, and serve as team lead for this function. Communicate with Members via electronic means individually as well as part of coordinated conversations with Membership Assistants and Health Coaches / Doctors located in clinic.Serve as team lead and provide coaching and support to other Billing Assistants in work groupWork closely with the larger Care Team to connect membership and money concerns with Member care in a seamless way that demonstrates coordination.Provide input to policies, systems, methods, and procedures for the effective management and control of the billing function.Work with internal teams and Members to gather support data to ensure invoice accuracy and also work through specific billing discrepancies.Monitor outstanding balances and take appropriate actions to resolve any differences. Manage the preparation of invoices and complete reconciliation of billing with accounts receivables.May also include quality assurance and audit of billing activities.
